NIAF Italia Champions Transatlantic Excellence in Education

NIAF Italia recognizes the importance of global education excellence. To accomplish this initiative, a series of programs anchored by an international Institute for Business, Government & Culture was developed by Chairman Paolo Catalfamo in collaboration with Prof. Salvatore Mancuso, Chairman of Equinox and Prof. John Lentini-Kozup of Villanova University.

The Institute’s mission is to facilitate knowledge transfer between the U.S. and Italy, impact key issues facing the business, governmental and cultural communities; most importantly championing cutting-edge programs in undergraduate, graduate, and executive education. The NIAF Italia contributes to the success of students, faculty and the broader society in a number of ways:

  1. The Institute provides a vital link between industry practice and classroom concepts through programs such as the International Ambassadors program, sponsored by Villanova University and hosted by the American University of Rome and John Cabot University. This international program sends students to Rome for a coursework as well as a series of high-level business and political meetings, client interactions and internships for organizations including Brand Portal, ENI, the Investar Group, Blastness Consulting and the Italian Parliament. Programs such as these are generously supported through the NIAF Gift of Discovery and other NIAF Italia sponsors.
  2. Executive-level conferences focusing on transatlantic cooperation and investment are hosted on a regular basis. The recent conference on “Innovation through Regulation” in Rome and the upcoming Venice conference on “Job Creation, Justice and Entrepreneurship” brings together leaders from business and government to discuss crucial issues impacting the global marketplace.
  3. World-class faculty and Executives-In-Residence deliver research, workshops and seminars in a variety of areas such as private equity and venture capital investment, leadership, cybersecurity, international marketing, regulatory innovation, cultural management and others. Faculty affiliations include Villanova University, La Sapienza, LUISS University, the University of Malta, the American University of Rome, Catholic University (Milan), Roma Tre, Bocconi University and IULM. Chairman Catalfamo commented on the initiative: “Thanks to the support and leadership of our International Advisory Board, faculty and students, the NIAF Italia and the Institute will be at the forefront of the revolution in education; producing impactful research, championing important issues and supporting the next generation of global leaders.”
